Remind Your Non-Member Friends: Per Article III, Section 15, the Board has set Friday, August 26, 2022 as the deadline to join CASE for those who wish to vote in the upcoming Board election or to cast a vote for or against the next MOU once an agreement is reached.

Retirement Estimates Made Easy.. Your retirement benefits are an incredibly important and valuable piece of your compensation as a Unit 2 employee of the State, but figuring out your post-career payment is complicated, time-consuming, and changes with your career circumstances. However, If you want to get a quick forecast of your annual pension payment, CalPERS has an easy-to-use Retirement Estimate Calculator that will give you a reasonable approximation based on a few key pieces of your career and salary history. Plus, you can enter different scenarios to see different outcomes. This link opens the website’s terms-of-use statement, which you must acknowledge to open the tool.

CASE Files mentioned this last week, but it’s worth highlighting again: Be sure to look for information next month on a new insurance offering from The Standard exclusively for CASE members:Critical Illness coverage.
