Dear CASE Member:
CASE is requesting that each member that has been directed to return to office, please respond to questions #1-5. We are also requesting that ALL CASE members respond to questions #6-7.
Please send your responses to case@calattorneys.org.
- What department do you work for?
- What is your assigned work location?
- Does your assigned work location currently have the capacity to provide an assigned enclosed office space for you and your colleagues, assuming everyone is in the office four days per week?
- If not, please provide details, i.e. are they housing you in cubicles, conference rooms, etc.
- Does your department/location utilize a reservation system? Did you have to utilize the system during the 2-day RTO order? If so, how did the system work? Please provide specifics.
- Has your department provided any official guidance or announcements regarding the space limitations?
- If so, please forward those documents to CASE. Do not send CASE anything that your department may consider confidential or attorney-client privileged.
- If you were conducting work that was considered confidential and/or privileged, approximately how many times each workday on average do you engage in confidential and/or privileged communications that require an enclosed office space?
- Some members have expressed to CASE that they would forgo a raise in order to sustain full-time telework, while other members have expressed that under no circumstances would such a compromise be acceptable. The Bargaining Team continues to negotiate aggressively, and has not proposed or agreed to either alternative, however, the Bargaining Team needs to know where the voting CASE membership as a whole stands on this issue, so please provide your response.
- What actions are you willing to take to support a fair and equitable MOU?
As always, your support of CASE and your colleagues in Bargaining Unit 2 is greatly appreciated. All responses must be submitted by Monday, June 16, 2025.
Sincerely,
The CASE Board of Directors
