CASE BOARD OF DIRECTORS UPDATE
Attorney Consolidation Progress. CalHR provided its required update to CASE last week regarding its work to implement the Attorney Consolidation plan as well as the implementation of the negotiated side letter which will provide Attorney I, DAG I, and related classes differentials addressing their delayed range changes.
While no precise time table is yet available for the implementation of the differential, payments will be retroactive to February 1, 2023. CalHR confirmed that it has made progress working with the legislature and the State Controller’s Office to ensure payments are issued when required steps have been completed.
CalHR also continues to work on revising exams to meet the June 1, 2023, implementation deadline for the consolidation plan. CASE and CalHR will meet again in mid-April and we will provide further updates as they become available.
