CASE BOARD OF DIRECTORS’ UPDATE
The CASE Board is excited to announce an Open Enrollment Period for two new CASE-sponsored group insurance plans, exclusively for CASE Members open now through September 30. Here’s what you need to know:
Open Enrollment September 12 – September 30. CASE is pleased to partner with Nancy Bond Insurance Services and The Standard to offer two new valuable plans for Members:
Accident Insurance
- Covers costs your medical insurance may not – 70+ benefits for covered injuries and treatment
- Option to cover your spouse and children and pays an additional 25% benefit if your covered child, 18 or under, is injured playing organized sports
- Premium stays the same for as long as you have your coverage
- Pays a $75 benefit once per calendar year when you or your dependents go to the doctor for a covered wellness screening program

Critical Illness Insurance
- A $30,000 benefit for you (with optional coverage for your spouse) and a $15,000 benefit for your children payable upon the diagnosis of specified conditions

MOU IMPLEMENTATION
New MOU Implementation Timeline. As you will recall, the Governor last week signed the legislation necessary to complete the ratification of the new CASE MOU. CASE continues to monitor the implementation process and will update you on when you can expect to see the retroactive 2.5% GSI payment as soon as we have a date from CalHR and the State Controller’s Office.
