Your nomination petition must include your name, department, classification, home and work addresses, phone numbers, e-mail address, and your signature.  Your nomination petition must identify the office for which you are seeking election so that it is clear to the five (5) active CASE members who support your nomination the office you are seeking.  Each person signing your nomination petition must provide his or her name, department, classification, work address, phone number, e-mail address, and signature.

Election forms and petitions are available from the CASE office, or on the CASE website (www.calattorneys.org).   Only active, rank-and-file full members of CASE in good standing are eligible to vote or run for elected office.  Retired annuitants, confidential employees, managers, and supervisors may not run for, or hold office.  Additionally, “Non-Members” of Bargaining Unit 2 may not run for or hold office.  If you are unsure of your membership status, please contact the CASE office for verification.

Candidates may submit a campaign statement to CASE, which will be emailed along with ballots to all voting CASE members.  The deadline for submitting this optional statement is Friday, September 27, 2019.  Although limited to one side of a single 8 ½ x 11-inch sheet of paper, there is no word limit, so you may design the statement as you prefer.  The CASE Elections Oversight Committee shall review all campaign statements to ensure compliance with Corporations Code section 7525, and Article III, section 3.14(c) of the CASE Bylaws.

If you have any questions about the election, please contact the CASE office at (800) 699-6533 or by e-mail at elections@calattorneys.org.

As always, your support of CASE and your colleagues in Bargaining Unit 2 is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

The CASE Board of Directors
