CASE is proud to sponsor the 2018 Baker to Vegas Challenge Cup Relay in its 22nd consecutive year. Known commonly as “Baker to Vegas”, the race is 120 miles long and includes 20 stages, making it the largest law enforcement race in the world. It stretches from Baker, California all the way to the finish line in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Baker to Vegas has a positive influence on the law enforcement community by promoting camaraderie, physical fitness, pride, and teamwork across multiple departments and branches of law enforcement. Teamwork is a vital component of the race as the runners will face difficult non-stop challenges and will need to rely on their teammates’ support. Not only does Baker to Vegas improve relations between law enforcement, but it also promotes a positive image of law enforcement to the public.
CASE enjoys supporting its members by sponsoring this important event. Baker to Vegas is a major morale booster for our bargaining unit and all employees at the Department of Justice.
