CASE BOARD OF DIRECTORS’ UPDATE
CASE 2022 Elections – Balloting Opens Friday. Balloting will open on Friday, October 14 at 8:00am and conclude on Friday, November 4 at 5:00pm.  

All CASE Members who joined prior to the August 26 deadline will receive an email from BallotPoint Election Services (email address: notice@ballotpoint[dot]com). 

Emails will be sent to the address you have on file. 

If you have a personal and work email on file with CASE, the ballot will be sent to your personal email address, however, we recommend checking both work and personal inboxes and checking your spam folders before requesting a new ballot be sent to you.

Candidate Statements Available. Candidate statements have been posted for your review. You can access them at the CASE website. Password is membersmatter22

OPEN ENROLLMENT ENDS FRIDAY!
Accident and Critical Illness Open Enrollment Ends Friday. Open Enrollment for CASE’s newest group-rate insurance offerings, Accident Insurance and Critical Illness Insurance, will close on October 14. Don’t miss out – sign up today!

CalPERS Open Enrollment Through Friday. Active CalPERS members can make changes to their health care plans through this Friday, October 14. You can learn about available plans, changes to existing plans, compare coverage, and more at the  CalPERS website. The 2023 CoBen Contribution amounts are as follows: Single, $735/mo; 2-Party, $1461/mo; Family, $1888/mo. CalHR’s CoBen calculator has also been updated to reflect these rates to assist you in planning for 2023.

MOU IMPLEMENTATION
MOU Implementation. CASE continues to monitor the implementation process for the new CASE MOU and will update you on when you can expect to see the retroactive 2.5% GSI payment as soon as we have a date from CalHR and the State Controller’s Office. We continue to wait for CalHR to issue the required pay letter which provides directions to Departments and the SCO on changes under the new MOU. Stay tuned for further updates.
